LIBERIAN MOVIE STAR TO REPRESENT LIBERIA AT NEXT MOVIE STAR COMPETITION IN NIGERIA

Liberian actor Esau Owusu Dahnsaw, also known as Flomos Has been nominated to represent The Republic of Liberia at this year’s prestigious Acting competition in Nigeria.

The Next Movie Star Competition which is being Produced by Digital Interactive Media (D.I.M) has been ongoing every year since the early 2000 and this year’s edition is the 11th of it’s kind.

According to the letter confirming Dahnsaw’s nomination: “Dear Mr. Dahnsaw
Congratulations for being the lone representative of Liberia in this year’s Next Movie Star competition.”

Dahnsaw is a proud son of the Bassa Tribe whose dexterity on screen has earned him many admirers and fans in Liberia and around the world, and has placed him among the list of highly sought after actors in Liberia. He came to prominence in 2014 in the movie DUGBORMAR in which he acted a humble young man who was sought after by the illiterate Dugbormar, a girl who causes trouble here and there.

But his nomination comes with a high price as the letter states that: “You are to arrive in Nigeria on or before 9th November 2015 on A ONE WAY TICKET purchased BY YOU OR YOUR TEAM. The Management of The Next Movie Star Competition will cover the expense of YOUR RETURN TICKET AS AND WHEN DUE.”

It is prudent to note that the Liberian Actor couldn’t make it to represent Liberia last year due to flight issues as the only flight between Liberia and Nigeria was fully booked till December. So this calls to order the help and input of The Liberian Government and Philanthropist to help in ironing out this pertinent issue.

Queen V, one of Liberia’s hottest female musician and Actress represented Liberia at this competition in 2008 and won it with flying colors. We could make history again with this well polished son of ours vouching for mama Liberia.
